Annual Sponsored Jailbreak Event

Well, it’s been a real long time since I put pen to paper in this way to create an ‘Alan’s Blog’ for the Settlement’s social media stuff! But, I still haven’t changed my mind about technology. Face-to-face…pen on paper via written letter….time together is still my preferred communication method!

However, a lot of positive things have been happening at the Settlement. Our Children’s work is thriving….Our Youth Work is developing well and more groups are being set up…Our Adult Work is seeing some increased numbers….Our Over 50’s group work continues to be a back bone of our weekly programme.

Fundraising has been phenomenal this past year. There are many, many people who have put in superb efforts, and the Settlement is extremely appreciative of all inputs. Our current and future programmes have benefited because of the hard, hard work.

We can look forward confidently and purposefully. Let us continue this progress TOGETHER.
