Intergenerational Project

Our Intergenerational Project works with five local sheltered housing complexes, providing a range of activities including: bingo, quizzes, games and trips.

The project aims to encourage older people to remain active and engaged. We are bringing together different generations as young adults volunteer in the complexes. Recently we have brought residents and local primary school pupils together. The project has a positive impact on all who participate as it facilitates cross-generational dialogue and understanding. All activities are free of charge.

Intergenerational Project Leader: Murray Webster
Intergenerational Support Workers: Catherine Arden and Connor McDade
